Acceptance
By accessing, registering for, purchasing, or using VERIXA, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any applicable policies referenced in them.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the VERIXA service. Where an individual uses VERIXA on behalf of a business or organization, that individual represents that they have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
About VERIXA
VERIXA is a digital warranty-management platform designed to help businesses manage warranty units, warranty registration, warranty verification, customer records, warranty claims, notifications, transactions and related operational records.
VERIXA provides software and digital infrastructure. It does not automatically become the manufacturer, seller, repairer, insurer or guarantor of an underlying product merely because a warranty is recorded or managed through the platform.
Seller Accounts
Sellers are responsible for providing accurate registration and business information; protecting credentials and OTPs; maintaining control of registered phone numbers; ensuring authorized employees use the account appropriately; and immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access.
The seller is responsible for activities performed through its account unless caused by VERIXA's own failure or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Warranty Units
VERIXA may allow sellers to purchase warranty units. Each unit represents a digital entitlement or recording capacity according to the applicable VERIXA product configuration.
Warranty units are not cash and are not automatically redeemable for cash. Unused units, expiry rules, refunds and reversals are governed by the commercial terms displayed to the seller at purchase.
Payments
Payments for VERIXA services may be processed through supported channels. Payment is successfully received only when VERIXA or its authorized payment provider confirms the transaction. A pending, failed, reversed or cancelled payment is not a completed purchase.
Where a payment is reversed or disputed, VERIXA may temporarily restrict the associated transaction or warranty-unit allocation while the matter is investigated.
Payment Receipts
VERIXA payment receipts represent transactions between a seller and VERIXA for VERIXA services or warranty units. A VERIXA seller payment receipt does not prove that a customer purchased a physical device. Customer device sales remain the responsibility of the seller or relevant retailer.
Customer Warranties
A warranty recorded in VERIXA does not automatically create a manufacturer's warranty where none exists. The seller must ensure information entered into VERIXA accurately reflects the warranty offered to the customer.
The seller is responsible for honoring applicable warranty obligations it has issued or represented, subject to the actual warranty terms.
Warranty Claims
VERIXA provides tools for managing warranty claims. A customer may initiate a request through an available warranty link or verification interface.
The responsible seller reviews the request, records inspection findings, requests further inspection where necessary, approves or rejects the claim, and completes repair or replacement according to the applicable warranty terms. VERIXA does not independently guarantee approval. Decisions remain the responsibility of the seller, manufacturer or service provider responsible under the warranty.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information when submitting warranty-related requests. Customers must not submit fraudulent claims, deliberately false information, manipulate records, use another person's warranty without authorization, attempt unauthorized access, bypass controls or abuse public verification endpoints.
Fraudulent or abusive activity may result in restricted access and may be reported where required or appropriate.
Prohibited Use
Users must not use VERIXA to:
- Commit fraud or conduct unlawful activity
- Upload malicious software or attack infrastructure
- Attempt unauthorized access or circumvent security controls
- Abuse APIs or scrape protected information
- Create fraudulent warranties or manipulate payment confirmations
- Misrepresent VERIXA as a manufacturer
- Use customer information unlawfully or violate applicable law
Account Suspension
VERIXA may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where reasonably necessary due to fraud, suspected abuse, security threats, unauthorized access, non-payment, violation of these Terms, illegal activity, attempted compromise or serious misuse of customer information.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, VERIXA may give notice before acting. Immediate restriction may be used where necessary to protect users, data, transactions or infrastructure.
Intellectual Property
VERIXA software, branding, interfaces, designs, source code, documentation, trademarks, logos and architecture are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Users receive a limited right to use the service under these Terms.
Users must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, reproduce or exploit proprietary software or branding except where expressly permitted by law or written authorization.
User Content
Sellers may upload customer, device, warranty, claim, photograph and business information. The seller remains responsible for having the rights and authority to submit it.
The seller grants VERIXA the limited rights necessary to host, process, store and transmit that information to provide the service.
Service Availability
VERIXA aims to provide reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Temporary interruption may result from maintenance, infrastructure or network failure, third-party outages, security incidents, force majeure events, regulatory requirements or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
VERIXA will take reasonable steps to restore affected services.
Third-Party Services
Functions may depend on payment gateways, mobile-money networks, SMS and email providers, hosting providers or internet infrastructure. VERIXA is not responsible for failures caused solely by third-party systems outside its reasonable control, but will take reasonable steps to manage integrations and communicate material issues where appropriate.
Disclaimer
VERIXA provides warranty-management software and infrastructure. Unless expressly stated otherwise, VERIXA does not guarantee a physical device's quality or performance, the existence of a manufacturer's warranty, a seller's ability to fulfill a warranty, a claim outcome, third-party repair quality, or information entered by a seller or customer.
Responsibility for the underlying product and warranty obligation remains with the relevant responsible party.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VERIXA shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from platform use, including losses caused by third-party interruption, inaccurate user-submitted information, account misuse caused by a user's failure to protect credentials, or circumstances beyond VERIXA's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, a user may be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities or expenses arising from unlawful or fraudulent use, unauthorized activity, violation of these Terms, unlawful processing of customer information, user-uploaded content or infringement of third-party rights. This provision applies subject to applicable law.
Disputes
Users should first attempt to resolve service disputes through official VERIXA support channels. Unresolved disputes will be handled under applicable law and the competent courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms applicable to the relevant VERIXA entity and transaction.
Applicable law and the competent courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms for the relevant VERIXA entity and transaction.
No arbitrary jurisdiction is imposed by this document where it has not been legally confirmed.
Changes to These Terms
VERIXA may update these Terms when the service, business model, technology or legal requirements change. Effective Date and Last Updated identify the current version. Where legally required, material changes should be communicated through appropriate channels.
